4 degrees and 40knots
Image

I had written today off for windsurfing due to the grim weather, but Farrell talked us into it and the forecast F7-8 WNW would be ideal for fast West Kirby times. It really did seem a daft idea at 8 'o' clock this morning though as I  poured boiling water on my van locks to get the key in! And battled through the blizzards and crap drivers..

Funny thing is when I got to Kirby I was a bit disappointed it wasn't icy and snowing -not much of a challenge!
Unfortunately there wasn't a  whole lot of wind either and when it did gust through it was accompanied by hail! yowser.

Only 4 of us speedies were tempted out -Faz and myself both getting a 41Knot max.

Good to get out for a sail before xmas. Tried a new Liberty weight jacket, awesome bit of kit, huge improvement over my old one (much more comfy and secure).

Check out these SIMMER RIGGING VIDS

Fingers crossed for a windy xmas and New Year. :)
